BE IT ORDAINED BY Th'E CITY `W COUNCIL OF TF +E CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1.- Section 6 of Ordinance Number. 2817
passed June 27a, 1921, is hereby ammended to_ read as follows:
" Section 6: Any person firm or corporation wu.o serail
violate section numbered two of tt.is ordinance srlall be 1011ty
of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in any sum not eaceeciir_g
`50.00 and any person, firm or corncratien who shall rlAce or
maintain any scales upon any wagon, truck or otter vehicle deliver -
ing ice by retail in this city stowing or raving false weights
thereon, or who shall deliver any ice to any purc}_aser or consumer
without first weighing said ice, or who shall not sell said ice
according to its true weight, or who shall fail or refuse to re-
weigh said 'ice upon the request of any purchaser or consumer, or who
shall sell or offer for sale any ice wY i_cl is not solid, or nct
clear, or not crystal, or not free from all dirt or filth or
unhealthy or injurious substance or el ,-Trent, srp11 be deemed i17,il.ty

of a misdemeanor and —upon conviction shall be fined in-any sum
not less than 110.00 nor more than $50.00, and each sale so made
or each day such scales showing a false weight sKg1l remain on

Section 2. All ordinances end psrt of ordire -ces in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and t} is ordinance stall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
