AN ORDINANCE PER11ITTING THE ARKANSAS STATE FAIR ASSOCIATION, A
CORPORATION, TO USE THE CITY PARK FOR THE PURPOSE OF HOLDING
THE ARKANSAS STATE FAIR WITHIN ITS AREA FRMI, NOVEMBER
11, 1921, TO NOMdBER 19, 1921, INCLUSIVE, PER1.11'ITTING

AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T H CITY COUNCIL 0? THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. Permission is hereby granted the Arkansas
State Fair Association, a corporation, incorporated under the
laws of the State of Arkansas, with its principal place of busi-
ness in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to use
the City Park of the City of Little Rock, from November 11, 1921,
to !oovember 19, 1921, inclusive, for the purpose of holding the
Arkansas State Fair, to make the proper preparations in said park
before said dates, and allowing them a reasonable time thereafter
for the removal of such structures, stands, buildings, etc., as
may be erected.
Section 2. This permission is granted upon the following
conditions, to -wit:-
1. That all trees in said park will be so boxed
and protected that the bark, trunks or other portions
thereof will not be injured in any way; and,
2. That at the expiration of said period said
park, the roads, lawns, sod, fences, the building therein,
and each and every portion thereof, shall be replaced in
the same or as good condition as upon the date of the pass-
age of this ordinance.
Section 3. Said association shall not have the privilege
of charging a fee, license or any sum whatever for any privilege
j! or concession outside of the fences of said park, nor grant to

any person, firm or corporation any privileges or concessions or

rights except within the boundaries thereof.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
