An ordinance renewing and amending Ordinance
No. 2036 of the city of Little Rock, passed on Janu %ry
59 1914, and entitled; "An ordinance entering into a

r Traction Company, its successors, assigns or lessees,
the right to operate its cars and street railway cars
on along and over the tracks of the Inter -City Terminal

Railway Company, owned or leased, on and over that portion
V of the Pulaski county free bridge and approaches there -
to lying and being situated within the city of Little
R
Rock, and certain streets in the aforesaid city, and
granting to the said Little Rock, fine Bluff and :astern
Traction Company, its successors, as igns or lessees, the
right to operate its cars on and to use such portions of
the track of the Little Sock Railway and Electric Com-
pany, or any other company, over which tracks the said
Inter -01ty Terminal Rail,,,ay Company, its successors or
assigns may now or hereafter acquire a right to operate
its cars, either by purchase or leased for the period
of fifty (50) years after the date of the approval of
this ordinance," and also amending Ordinances No. 2166
and 2351 of the city of Little -pock, amendatory of said
Ordinance No. 2036, so as to extend the time granted to
said Little Rock, fine Bluff and Eastern Traction Com-
pany for beginning actual and active construction of
its interurban railway between Argenta and Pine Bluff
for a -;period of two (2) years from the date of the pas-
sage of this ordinance and for having the same in oper-
ation between the cities of Little ?ock and Pine Bluff

within six (6) years from the dote of the passage of
this ordinance.
Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 2036 of the city
of Little Bock, passed on January 5, 1914, and entitled:
"6n ordinance entering into a contract with the Little
Rock, Pine Bluff and Eastern Traction Company, a corpora-
tion under the laws of zzkansas, granting to the said Lit-
tie Rock, Fine Bluff and Eastern Traction Company, its
successors, assigns or less -es, the right to operate its
ears and street rail;;ay cars on, along and over the tracks
of the Inter -City Terminal Railway Company, avned or leased,
on and over that portion of the Pulaski county, free bridge
and approaches thereto, lying and being situated within
the city of Little Rock, and certain streets in the afore-
said city, and granting to the said Little Rock, 'ine Bluff
and Eastern Traction Company, its successors, assigns or
lessees, the right to operate its cars on and to use such
portions of the track of the Little Rock Railway and Elec-
tric Company, or any other company over which tracks the
said Inter -city Terminal Railway Company, its successors
or assigns, may now or hereafter acquire a right to oper-
ate its cars, either by purchase or lease, for the period
of fifty (50) years after the date of the approval of this
ordinance "! and Ordinance No. 2166, passed Barth 22, 1915,
entitled, "An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2036 of the
city of Little :?ock," etc., amendatory thereof, be, and
the same are hereby, renewed and amended in the following

Section 2. - That the time n-iven0in said ordinences

shall comply zlth all the other terms and conditions set forth
in Ordinance iJo. 2036 aforesaid, and shall furnish to the
city a bond in the sum of One Thousand Dollars (1,000.00) to
be approved %- the mayor, conditioned upon the faithful com-
pliance with the terms of said Ordinance iyo. 2036, as amended
by thi: ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinal ce shall be in force and
take effect from and after its passage and the furnishing of
the above mentioned bond , and all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby,
rei:ealed .
