ORDINANCE NO. 2861,
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TH' RATr OF '1'A.L0.TION OF
PROPERTY FOR CITY PURPOSES FOR THE YEAR 1921.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTL7� ROCK:
Section 1. That the rate of taxation on real
and personal property in the city of Little mock, Arkansas,
for city purposes for the year 1921. be, and the same is
hereby, fixed and established and levied as follows:
For ,general purposes, in order to carry on the
affairs of the city Government under 6ection 4, Article 12, of
the Constitution of 1874, there is hereby levied a tax of five
mills.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect from and after its passage and the some shall be
forthwith certified by the =Mayor and city clerk, as required
by law.
