-,hereas, on the 10th day of October, 1921, upon
petition dizl7 rresented to the City "ouncil, to�_ether Frith
"plan therefor, permission was granted to Crane Co. to erect
and construct an elevated concrete sidewalk and marquee on the
east f-_oont on the Sherman Street side of its building, to be
erected on Lets -'ou- (4), Five (5) and Six (6) in Block Yen (10)
rope's 11d6ition to the City of Little 11Pock, Arkansas, subject to
the ap-proval and supervision of the city en ineer during said
construction; therefore

11SAS :
Section 1. That Crane Co. be and it is hereby granted
the right and authorized and empowered to erect and construct an
elevated concrete sidewalk on the east front, or the Sherman
Street side of its building now under construction, on
Lots Four (4) , .five (5) and Six (6) in Block Ten (10) of
tope's �Iddition to the City of Little 11ock, Arkansas, said sidewalk
to be of full width with the approach from either end to be on
an easy gradient and on an inclined plane, as shovrn by plans
on file with the petition heretofore filed.
Ahd said Crane Co. is further granted the privilege
and right, and is hereby authorized and empowered, to erect and
place above said elevated sidewalk a marquee or protecting roof
Of the material and in accordance with the plans so filed.
_.11 of said construction to be under the supervision and control
of the City _,ngineer, who is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a hermit for the construction and erection of said elevated
sidewalk and marquee herein and by this ordinance juthorized.
Section 2. `that this ordinance be and the same is
hereby declared to be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, and all ordinances and marts of ordinances so far
as same are in conflict with the terms of this ordinance be and
the same are hereby held of no effect insofar as t'r_ey an-ply to
this ordinance , but not otherwise.
