AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAI PORTI'JN OF THE

CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, INTO A LOCATE
IEPROVFMENT DISTRICT A ;D DESIGN ATII;G THE BOUNDS
THEREOF, SAID DISTRICT TO B3 KNOWN AS "SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ro. 311 OF THE CITY OF
LITCLu ROCK, ARKANSAS."
70HAS, more than ten owners of real property within
the bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take ster.s looking
toward the making of local improvements therein by constructing
concrete sidewalks, and doing the necessary grading, excavatin7
and filling therefor, upon each side of Flm :street from
Thirteenth Street to Sixteenth Street; upon the east side of
Lewis Street from Thirteenth :Street to Sixteenth Street;
upon the west side of Lewis Street from rifteenth Street to
Sixteenth Street; upon each side of Fourteenth Street from
Elm Street to Lewis Street; upon each side of Fifteenth
Street from Elm. Street to "ewis Street; upon ,the south
side of Fifteenth Street from Lewis Street to Abigail Street,
and upon each side of Sixteenth Street from Elm Street to
Abigail Street; the work to be done of such material as the
commissioners (to be hereafter selected) may deem best.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIn7D BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TAT_' CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTIO! 1. That "Sidewalk improvement District
No. 311 of the CIty of Little Rock, Arkansas," be and the same

hereby is c- _•eated, laid out and established for the rurnose of
constructing concrete sidewalks, and doing the necessary
grading, excavating and filling therefor, upon each side of
Elm Street from Thirteenth Street to Sixteenth Street; upon

Fifteenth Street to Sixteenth Street; upon each side of
Fourteenth Street from elm Street to Lewis Street; upon

Street to Abigail Street, and upon each :side of Sixteenth
Street from -Llm Street to Abigail Street; the worn to be
done of such material as the commissioners (to be hereafter

General Assembly of the State of -Arkansas entitled "An

SECTION? 2. That the District hereby created, laid
out and established shall include the following described real
property, to -wit: Lots four, five, six, sever, eight and
nine in block five; lots one, tvio, three, four, five and
six in block twelve; lots one, two, three, four, give and
six in block thirteen; all in `W. -B. Iorthen's Additl-on to
the City of ittle rock, Arkansas; and lots one, two and
three in block eight in -3raddock's addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; an,� lots one, two, three, four, rive,
six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve in block
two; lots one, two, three, four, five, six, Seven, eight,

SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and publication; and
the Citr Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty days from the
passage of this ordinance to publish same in some news-,_)�,:per
of general circulation in the City of ittle Rock, Arkansas,
for one insertion.
