SE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTJI.TCiL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROC1s:
SECTIOIJ 1. That the right and privelege is hereby grant -
ed to Sam F. Harmon, his heirs and assigns, to construct and
maintain, at his own expense, a certain line of sewar, beginning

at the i„tersaotoion of Lee Avenue and ivfonroe Streets, thence
South 430 feet. Provided, that said serer shall be constructed
only according to such plans and specifications as may be ap-
proved by the Suparintandz�nt of Public Trorks of the city of
Little Rock.
SECTIOiv' S. In consideration of Sam F. Harmon advancing
-the funds naoass iry for the co;iatruction of said sepler, and for
the proper maintana�ice therefore the said Sam F. Harmon , his
heirs and assigns are hereby granted tie exclusiva control of
the sewer main, hereby authorized to be constructed, for and
during the period provided by this ordinance, and they are here-
by authorized to permit or prevent any connections therewith by
any person or persons, corporation or corporations, except upon
the terms and conditions speciffed in this ordinance.
SECTION: 3. Sam F. Harmon, his heirs and assigns shall
permit all property owners , upon their securing permit from the
department of public works of the city of Little Rock, to connect
Frith said sewer at a cost not to excaed $35;00 per connection,
which sum shall be paid to the city collector of the city of
Little Rock, of which sun: the city shall receive a commission
of 3 per cent for making such collections and the sum of 45.00
per connection in addition thereto; the remainder thereof shall
be collected for the account of Sam F. Harmon, his heirs or assigns
settlements to be made by the city collector with the said Sam F.
Harmon, his heirs and assigns, at expiration of every first of
each month.

SECTION 4. The said Sam F. Harmon, his heirs and assigns,
bind thernsalves to keep and maintain said sear -r for the period of
this franch ise , in good and sanitary order, and repairs- In the
event said sewer lines are not maintained in such conditions, to
the satisfaction of the Health Department of the city of Litt3s
