An Ordinance authorizing the Rei ssuance of �1,C75,000.CC Outstanding
Tarrants of the City of Little Roan.
"'HERE:A.S, There are outstanding T1.rarrants of the City of Little
-loch of the aggregate amount of 1,075,000, payable ISarch 25, 1922,
and there are not, and will not be when said warrants become payable,
funds available for their payment; and,
WHEREAS, Said warrants are described as follows:
Warrants Nos. 34750 to 35024, 1 lusive, of denomination
of $1,000 each, and Nos. 35025 to 35C344`,,iomination of 85000
each, all dated 1.Iarch 25, 1921, aggregating t325,COC .
Warrants Nos. 35441 to 3596C, inclusive, of denomination
of x$,'1,000 each, and Nos. 35431 to 35440, inclusive, of denor.;ina-
tion of 4),C00 each, all dated July 9, 1921, aggregating qy"57C,C00.
Tarrants Tos. 35961 to 36140, inclusive, of denomination

WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Little Rock has
carefully investigated the said warrants and has found that each of
said warrants was duly and properly issued for r..unicipal purposes and
that the said City has received in the case of each of such warrants at
least the face amount thereof and that the said warrants and the indebt-
edness represented thereby are valid and that no part of said warrants
or indebtedness has been paid:

Section 1. The said 0,'11,075,000 warrants shall be reissued and
the indebtedness represented thereby extended by the issuance of new
warrants of the City of Little Mock of an equivalent face arr.ount. Said
new warrants shall be styled "Series All and shall be numbered from 1 to
225, inclusive, and 100 of said warrants shall be of the denomination of

This warrant is issued pursuant to the Constitution and statutes
of the State of Arkansas, including Act 17o. 19�: of the acts of Arkansas
of 1017, and an ordinance adopted by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock on A;-)ril 3, 1922, for the purpose of extending the payment
of certain indebtedness of said City by exchanging outstanding warrants
which were duly and properly issued for municipal purposes any -or which
the City has received full value.
It is hereby certified and recited that all conditions, acts and
things required by the Constitution and statutes of the State of Arkansas
to exist, be performed and happen precedent to or in the issuance o f this
warrant, or the incurring of the indebtedness evidenced thereby, have

been properly done and performed in regular and due -Form as required
by law, and that said warrants and indebtedness, together with all
other indebtedness of the City of Little .lock, is within .every debt
and other limit prescribed by the Constitution or statutes of said
