Whereas, there Yf, s`bee, presented. to this council a pe- tition, of the Charles F. Fenzel Grocery Company with affidavit, and indemnity bond attached >stating that warrant N0.28246 in the sum of 88.74 and Warr &nt 170.28816 in the sum of :x-117.36 totaling 2206.10 issued to the Charles F. Fenzel Grocery Company by the City of Little Rock on the 24th dal,-!- of June and 23rd of July 1918, respectively, were destroyed. by fire October 16, 1918, m d, Whereas, the holder of said warrants has requested their reissue to the Charles F. Fenzel Grocery Company and, Yihereas, this council has carefully investigated the validity and amount of th,e indebtedness for vhich said warrants were issued; and,this councils ascertained that the said warrants are legal and binding obligations of the City of Little jock, Now, therefore, it is hereby ascertained and declered that said warrants are valid and existing obligations of said City; and, tl: ere for e, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROC$; Section 1: That the City of Little Rock by its Mayor and City Clerk, as president and clerk of the city council, issue to the ,said Charles F. Fenzel Grocery Company warrants of the City of Little I ;Rock for the respective sui;is of Y88.74 and 13117.36. Said warrants shall be made payable to the Charles F. Penzel Grocery Comp✓:ny and shall be paid out of such funds and at such date as the Mayor end City i Clerk may designate.
