An Ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be received by the owners of each of the several blocl.s, lots and parcels of land within Street Improvement District No. 312 of the City of Little Rock. WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit - uated in Street Improvement District No. 312 in the City of Little Rock, organized for the purpose of making local improve- ments therein by grading, draining, curbing, - uttering and pav- ing of and laying of sidewalks upon the streets within said district, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot and pa., -cel of real property, railroad and railroad right of way situated in said district, equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and THEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $22,000.00, exclusive of interest and other expenses, and the assessed benefits amount to $31,650.00. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and par- cell of real property, railroads and railroad rights of way in said Street Improve:iient District No. 312, be and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list as the sajue now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, i t and that four per centum of said assessment of the value of benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land, railroads and railroad rights of way sh,111 be paid on or before the 1st day of December in each of the years 1922 and 1923, and 8-F/0 of said assessment shall be paid on or before the lst day of December in each of the years 1924 to 1933 inclusive, until the Whole of said assessiiient shall have been paid. Section 2, That all. ordinances or parts of ordinan- ces in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
