ORDINANCE 110 3022.
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AN ADDITIONAL ASSESS2 &,'NT UPON THE
REAL PROPERTY IN STREET IMPROVEILZNT DISTRICT N0. 209.
WHEREAS, the total value of the property included in
Street Improvement District No. 209 amounted to 055,860.00,
and,
WHEREAS, there was assessed against said property bene-
fits as assessed by the commissioners, amounting to 010,712.00
and,
WHEREAS, the annual assessments, as heretofore collected
from said district, amounted to 010,712.00 and,
WHEREAS, the commissioners of said district have filed
their petition with this Council for an additional assessment,
said petition certif$ing that the assessments heretofore col-
lected have been insufficient to pay the indebtedness of said
district and that its note for the sum of 01000.00 with inter-
est at the rate of 6a per annum from July 1, 1919 is outstand-
ing and past due, amounting to the total sum at this time of
about 01450.00; and also due a small amount of interest on its
bonds amounting to 050.00 and it will take the sum of
01500.00 to pay the indebtedness of said district, aril,
ti,'IHEREAS, the real property located within said district
has received the full benefits from the work dDne and said
note is for the balance due on said work performed, therefore,
BE IT OEDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots and par-
cels of real propety in said district be and they are hereby
assessed for the year 1922 an amount equal to &/ of the an-
nual assessments against said several blocks, lots and parcels
of real property heretofore collected for the year 1921 as the
same now appears in the office of the City Collector or City
Clerk.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage.
