ORDINANCE NO. 3 0 2 8.
An Ordinance assessing; the value of the benefits to be re-
ceived by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots,
and parcels if land within Street Improvement District
No. 303 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
V41HEREAS,a majority in value of the property owners own-
ing property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit-
uated within Street Improvement District No. 303 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making
local im.,provements therein by repaving with an asphaltic sur -,
face and otherwise improving: Main Street from the South curb
on Markham Street to the South curb on Eighth Street, have 1
petitioned the City Council of Little Rock for the construct-
ion of said improvement and that the cost thereof shall be
assessed upon the real property within said district according
to the benefits received; and,
VJ'HEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said district
equals or ey ceec s the local asses::ment thereon; and,
INFEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$60,000.00;
THEREFORE, It is Now Ordained By the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parce?.s of
real property in said Street Improvement District No. 303 be
and they are hereby assessed according to the assesstent list
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the city clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as
the same may be annually re- adjusted by the board of assessors,
and that ten (10) per centum of said assessment of value of
benefits of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall
be paid annually on or before the first day of October of each
year until one hundred (100 %) per centum of said as --essment
shall have been paid. The first annual payment shall be made
on or before the first day of October, 1922.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage.
