AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF THE BI 'FITS TO BE RECEIVED
BY THE OI NERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS ANA PARCELS
OF LAND ti ITHIN CURB, GUTTiR AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMEN^1 DISTRICT
NO.'323 of the CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
in Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Improvement District No. 323 in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose ^V
making local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing
guttering and building sidewalks along both sides of the street
hereinafter set out, in such manner and with such materials as
the commissioners of said district shall determine to be for the
best interests of the district
Nest 31st Street from the east property line of
Arch Street east to its intersection aith the east
property line of Chattanooga Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas
have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little- Rock,
Arkansas for the construction of said improvement and that the
cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in said '*
district according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated in said district equals
or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$4024.00, therefore,
33E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS,
Section 1: That the said several blocks, lots and
parcels of real property in said Curb, Gutter and Sidewalk Imp-
rovement District No. 323 be and they are hereby assessed accord-
ing to the assessment list as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may
be annually readjusted.by the Board of Assessors on account of
additional improvements placed upon the land, and that ten percentum

of said assessment of the value of benefits of each of said
blocks$ lots and parcels of land shall be paid annually on
or before the Ist day of October of each year until the whole
of said assessment shall have been paid. The first installment
of said assessment shall be paid on or before October 1, 1922.
Sec That dill ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith a're hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full torte and effect from and after its passage.
