ORDINANCE
An Ordinance Assessing the. Value of the Benefits to be Received
by the Owners of each of the Several Blocks, Lots and Parcels of
Land Within Street Iw roven,, ,-zent District No. 314 (, the City of
Lit't'le Rock, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the majority in v�.1ue of the property holders owning
property adjoining the loci-lity to be affected and situated in
district No- 314 organized for the purpose of grading, dxaining
and p%_vini with asphalt, asphaltic concrete or penetration as-
ph't_l t in sou .h manner and wit such materials as the comr:i s si oners
of said district shall deterrdne shall be for the best interests
of the district, West Twelfth (12) Street from the West line of
Battery Street to the V� st line of Lewis Street, Li-j le Hock,
Arkansas, have petitioned the council of the city of Little Rock
fox the construction of said improvement, and that the cost there-
of shall be assessed upon the real property of said district ao-
cordin6 to the benefits received; arid,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,lot and
r;arcel of real property situated in said district equals or ex-
ceeds ,ire local assessment thereon; and,
WHEP AS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $64,933.00,
exclusive of interest:
Therefore, it is now ordained by the city council of the city
of Li , ale Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said district be assessed according to the assess -
ment list for said improvement district as the same now rex.ains
in the office of the city clerk of the City of Li4'--le Rock, and
as the sore :ray be annually read.;uster_ by the boara of assessors,
and that ten (10) per centurp of said assessment of value of ben-
efits of each of said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be
paid annually on or before the 13th day of Februl:.ry of each year

until one hundred (100) per centum of said asseer,ment shall
have b -.en p aid. The first annual pay:.cn shall be made on or
before the 15th day of February,1923.
SECTION 2. That all or;- ir_,L.Ioes or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewi -:,h are hare a repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and. efect from and after its passage.
