AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE LOCATION OF BARBER AVENUE

LITTLE ROCK: r
Section 1. The present location of that portion of
Barber Avenue between the southwest corner of Oakland
Cemetery and its intersection with east Twenty-sixth
Street and Confederate Boulevard is changed to the follow-
ing location, of which the following described line is the
center line:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Oakland Ceme-
tery; thence south 46 degrees 30 minutes east, 1130 feet to
intersection of East Twenty -sixth utreet and Confederate
Boulevard.
And that portion of Barber Avenue, the -,)resent loca-
tion of which is first described herein is abandoned as
a street, and Berber ,"-.venue between the points named is
located with the center line as hereinbefore "last describ-
ed, and is opened up and laid out as a Jublic street sixty
feet tide, twenty -four feet wide between curbs, with the
center line as last li.ereinbefore described.
Section 2. The new location of that portion of Barber
Avenue as hereinbefore set forth bein, entirely on land
oeined by the City, the City is fully empowered to open up
the street and no eminent domain proceedings are necessary
for this purpose.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect on and
after its passage.
