AN ORDINANMEJ TO B ;TIER REGULATE TRAFFIC ON THE BROADWAY STREET
BRIDGE IN LITTLE ROCK AND PROVIDING PI`,NALTY FOR VIOLATION-
BE IT ORDAIR'ED BY TIT. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LTTTL.1' RCCK:
Section 1. The Police Department is hereby given
authority to have a line, six inches wide, painted on the middle
of the Broadway Street Bridge, running lengthwise, being a pro-
longation of a similar line from North Little hock, and extending
to la.rkham Street, and the said. line shall be known as the Traf-
fic Strip.
Section 2. All vehicles on said bridge shall keep
to the right of the Traffic Strip and near the curb. It shall
be unlawful for any vehicle to cross or drive upon the Traffic
Strip and for any vehicle to drive at such a distance from the
curb so as to prevent another vehicle, going in the same direc-
tion, from passing on the left without crossing,- or driving upon
the said Traffic Strip; and it shall be unlawful for any vehicle
to stop or turn around on the bridge or on the approach to same.
Section 3. Any person violating this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction in
the Municipal Court shall be fined in any sum not more than
1;25.00 for each offense.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after its passage.
