AN ORDINANCE Re- Assessing the Value of the Benefits to beo"3e-
ceived by the Owners of each of the seversl blocks, lots
and parcels of land within St-,eet Improvement DistrJet No.
X15 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
11.HEREAS, heretofore, on the 7th day of August, 1922, Or-
dinance No. 3018 was passed by the City Council levying the as-
sessments of the value of the benefits to be received by each of
the blocks, lots and parcels of real property situated within
said district according to the assessment list for said improve-
ment district, and,
WHEREAS, ten per centum of said assessment of value of bene-
fits of said blocks, lots and parcels of land was to be paid an-
nually on or before the 10th day of September each year until
one hundred per centum of said assessment should be paid, the
time for the first annual payment being on )r before the 10th
day of September, 1922, and,

been made and completed, Gnd tl-Ie cost thereof to the c istr iet
has been decreased by receiving certain assistance from the Jity
of Tittle 13.)ck, the County of :'ulaski and the State of Arkansas,
and,
t°MPR AS ninety per centum of the assessment of value of
benefits ;ill be sufficient to pay the remaining indebtedness of
the district, and it will not be Necessary to collect the full
one hundred per centum heretofore levied,
NOVI, THF,BEFORE, Be it Ordainec by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock:
SEC''ION 1. The City Collector shall collect for the year
1923 nine (9 %) per centum of the face of the assessment of value
of benefits of the above district in lieu of the ten (10%) per
centum thereof heretofore levied, and that nine (9c%) per centum
of said assessment of value of benefits of each of said blocks,
lots and parcels of land sha 11 be paid annually on the 10th dsy
of September, of each year to and including tr_e year 19:51.
SECTION 2. All ordina_.ces in confiict herewith are hereby
repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from End after its passage.
