AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF TIM CITY OF •
LITTLE ROCK INTO A STREET IMPRO"El..NT DISTRICT TO
BE KNOWN AS STREET IMPRO 1,1ENT DISTRICT N0. ,34t�P

VEEFuE,AS, more than ten owners of real property within
that portion of Little .Rock, ?ulaski County, Arkansas, herein-
after described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps
toward making of local improvements therein by forming the terri-
tory hereinafter described into an improvement district for the
purposes hereinafter set out:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TH1 CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE' ROCK:
Section 1:
That said Street Improvement District No.
of the City of Little Rock, be, and the same is hereby
created and established for the purpo,-e of making local improve-
ments therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving
in such manner and with such materials as the commissioners of
said district shall determine to be for the best interests of
the district, the following streets:
East Fifteenth Street from the east property line of
Barber Avenue to the east property line of Fletcher
Street; Fletcher Street from the south property line
Am of East Fifteenth Street to the south property line of
East Seventeenth Street; and East Seventeenth Street
from the east property line of Fletcher Street to the
west line of the intersection of said East Seventeenth
Street with the right of way of the Missouri Pacific
Railway Company,
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of
the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled "An Act to
Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class ", approved
March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said
district shall include the following property;
All the real property lying within 150 feet north of the
north property line and all that real property lying with-
in 150 feet south of the south property line of East
Fifteenth Street from the eaet property line of Barber
.Avenue to the east property line of Dodge Addition;

That part of Lots 7, 8 and 9 of Block 9 of Dodge
Addition east of 1 Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific
Ra�i:7ay Company right- of- -. 7ay; *"
A strip of ground described as follows: Begin at
the southeast corner of Block 8, Dodge Addition,
thence east to west line of Block 1' of Manufacturers'
Addition;, thence north along said west line to south
line of Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railway Company
industrial switch right- of -aay, thence northwesterly
along said south line to the east li_�e. of Block 8 of
Dodge Addition, thence south along said east line to
point of beginning;
All of Blocks 7 to 18 inclusive of Manufacturerts
Addition; and the following unplatted tracts lying
in Section 12, Township 1 North, Range 12 West, to-wit:
The north 300 feet of the NE-1 of the SW I; the NEIL of
the NE-- of the 77-� of the SW -, all of the south 300
feet of the SE4 of the 141 %% lyi.-Z between the east pro-

line of Manufacturerve Addition and the west line
of the Missouri Pacific Railway Com?)aay right -of -way.
Section 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and thia ordinance
shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage,
and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within twenty lays from
the date of its passage to publish the same in some -newspap;er
published in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
