AN ORDIYAYCE CREATING THE OFFICE OF CHAPLAIN
OF THE POI:ICE DEPARTIMNT, AND FCR OTHEF. PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDA UMD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH'I'll CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
Section 1. The office of Chaplain of the Police Depart-
meat is hereby created, the term of which shall be for the same
,period as that of the City Administration or until his successor
has been selected; the duties of said office shall be outlined by
the Police Delartment and the Police Committee, and they shall be
performed without pay; and the s6lection of the Chaplain shall be
made by ballot by the members of the Police Delartment and the
Police Committee.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and
after its passage.
