AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE CITY OF
r LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, INTO A LOCAL IMPROVMZENT DISTRICT AND
DESIGNATING TIM BOUNDS THEREOF,SAID DISTRICT TO BE KNO'FiN AS
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO,3 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
RO CK , �4Ri{A2 ?SAS.
V,IFiEREAS, ten or more owners of real property within the
bounds herein mentioned have petitioned the City Council of the
City of Little Rock,Arkansas,to take steps looking toward the
making of local improvements therein by grading,draining,
curbing,guttering and paving with Creosoted Wood Blocks,Brick,
Concrete ,IVa,rrenite- Bitulithic,or any other material which the
Commissioners may deem best,all that portion of the following
Streets in the City of Little Rock,Puxiaski County,Arkansas,
Summit Averse from the South property line of Fifth( 5th)
Street to the North property line of Seventh(7th) Street; and
Sixth(6th) Street from the East property line of Battery Street
to the East property line of Schiller Avenue'; Uow.TherefoTe.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTI+IR ROCK,
.ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Street Improvement District No.3- e of the
City of,Little Rock,Arkansas,be, and the same hereby is,created
laid out and established for the purpose of grading,draining,
curb ing,puttering and paving with Creosoted Wood Blocks,Brick,
Concrete ,Warrenite- Bitulithie,or any other material which the
Commissioners may deem best,all that portion of the following
Streets: Summit Avenue from the Southpro -perty line of Fi.fth(5th)
Street to the North property line of Seventh(7th) Street; and
Sixth(6th) Street from the East property line of Battery Street
to the East property line of Schiller Avenue,in the City of
Little Rock,Arkansas,in accordance with an Act of the General
Assembly of tbik tate of Arkansas, entitled AN ACT TO REGULATE
THE I:,ANNER OF ASSESSING REAL PROPERTY FOR LOCAL I12ROVEMMITS IN
THE CITIES OF THE FIRST AND SECOND CLASS", APPROVED MARCH 221D,
i881,and AMEND+ NTS THERETO.

SECTION 2. That the District hereby created,laid out and es-
tablished shall include that portion of the City of Little
Rock,Arkansas,embraced within the boundaries herein described,
as follows:
All property bounding and abutting on the Streets
to be improved.as set out in Section one(1) hereof,and running
back therefrom for a distance of 150 feet.
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in
conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repe &led,and this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its paggage and publication;exid the City Clerk is hereby
ordered within twenty(20) days `'rom the passage of this
Ordinance to publish same in some newspaper of general circus•
la.tion in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas,for one(1) inser-
tion.
