\ An Ordinance laying Off a Certain Portion of the City of Little
Rock, Arkens�.s, into a Local Improvement District and designating
the boundaries thereof, said district to be known as Street Imp-
.rovement District No. f the City of Little Rook, Arkwn.sas.

1 Wher.ea,s ten or more owners of real property within the

City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take eteps toward the making of
locwl improvePnt s therein by grading, dre,ining, curbing, gutteri
and paving in such manner and with such materiels as the com- ,liss-
loners of said district shall determine to be for the best interests
of the district, all that por-"-ion of Brown, West 14th and Martin
Streets, as follows: Brown Street from the south property line of
Jest 13th Street to a line extended east from the south property
line of Lot 8, Block 27, Jones & Thor then' s Addition, and West 14th
Street from the east property line of Val mar Street to the west
property line of Martin Street and from ,he east -oroperty line of
Mar-,in Street to -{,he rest property line of Brown Street, and
Martin Street from a line extended east from the north line of
Lot 1, Block 29, Jones & 7'orthen's Addition, thence north to a
line extended west from the south line of Lot 5 ffiock 20, in
Jones & Worthen's Addition:
Therefore be it ordained by the gity Council of the C4ty of
Little Rock, Arkin Bas:
Section 1. That Street Improvement District No. of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be and the same is hereby created,
laid out and established for the pur�oae of gracing, dr?ir._ng,curb-
ing, guttering and Paving in such runner and with such materials
as the comm_t 1sioners of said district shall determine to be for
the beet interests of the district: the po.r.tions of Brown Street,
West 14th Street and Nla Street ab. ve described, in said City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act to Regulate
the :fanner of Assessing real property for local improvements in
ties of the firat and eacond class, approved March 22nd, 1581,
'admente thereto.
Section 2. That the district hereby created, laid out and as—
t bli shed shall include that -cordon of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, embraced within the roudda,ries hereinafter de-
scribed as follows:
Lots 7,8,9,10,11 & 12, Block 19; Lots 112,3,4,536 &_ 7
Block 20; sots 4,5,6,7,8 & 9,
26; Lolls 1,2,3,4,5,b,7,g, 13,'
4,5 & 6, Block 28; and, Lot 1

& Torthen's Addition to the city
Section 3. Ttat all Ordinances and nsrts of Ordinances in conflict
�7ith this ordinance are hereby repealed and this Ordinance erall take
effect and be in f,,-Ill force from and after its passage and publi-
cation; and the City r,lerk of Little Ruck, Arkansas, is hereby
ordered within twenty days from the passage of this ordinance to
publish the s=e in some newspaper in the City of Little Rook,
Arkansas, for one insertion.
