An Ordinance assessing the value of benefits to be
received by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots
and parcels of land within Street Improvement District T ?umber
r� 342 of the City of Little Rock.
WHEREAS, A majority in value of the property hold-
ers owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situated in Street Improvement District Number 342 in
the City of Little Rock, organized for the purpose of mak-
ing local imt)rovement therein by draining, grading, curbing,
guttering and paving Rector Avenue from the south property
line of East Sixth Otreet to the north property line of East
Ninth Street, have petitioned the City Council of the City
of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement and
that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real rop-
erty in said district according to the benefits received;
and
MM,REAS, Said benefits received by each and every
block, lot and parcel of real property, railroad and rail-
road right of way situated in said district equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon; and
W =1 EAS, The estimated cost of said improvement is
$_ 13,289.10 , exclusive of interest and other expenses,
and the assessed benefits amount to 17,075.00 ;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TIM CITY OF LITTLE, ROCK:
Section 1. That the said several blocks, lots
and parcels of real Imop.ert -T, railroads and railroad rights
of way in said Street Improvement District Number 342, be
and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment
list as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be
annually readjusted by the Board of Assessors, and that
ten per centum of said assessment of the value of benefits
to each of said blocl.s, lots and parcels of land, railroads
and railroad rights of way shall be raid on or before the
15th day of September in each of the years 1923 to 1932,
inclusive, until the whole of said assessment shall have
been raid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
