AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING Th[E OWNER OR OWIMS OF ANY PROPERTY
ABUTTING ON TB E Iv O RTH SIDE OF EAST SIXTH S TRK T, FROM FERRY
TO RECTOR STREETS, TO RISE THEIR S ZEW IXS, ALONG SAID
STREET, TO THE GRADE OF THE STREET, AND NOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OUNC IL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
Section 1. That the owner car owners, respectively, of any
property abutting on the North side of East Sixth Street, from
Ferry to Rector Streets, ip the City of Little Rook, be, and they
are her e)7. required rai se�th eir sidewalks along said street, to

the grade of the said street, within ninety clays from the passage

of this ordinance; that the sidwalks shall be so raised under the

supervision of the City Engineer.
Section 2. That upon failure or refusal of any of said owners
of said property to comply with the provisions of this ordinance
to raise the said sidewalks to the gradeof the street and within
the time herein prescribed the said owner shall be deemed guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction in the 11unicipal Court, sbkll
be am fined in the sum of $25.00, and costs and each day that
such failure or refusal is continued shall oonsittute a separate

offense and shell be punished by a fine of fifteen dollars per day
such offense is continued,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect tzmand be in
force from and after its xassage.
