AN ORDINANCE LAYING OFF A PORTION OF TH&
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK INTO A STREET I10R0-

WIEREAS, more than ten owners of real property
within that portion of Little- Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
hereinafter described, have petitioned the City Council to
take steps toward the making of local improvements therein
by forming the territory hereinafter described into an im-
provement district for the purpose hereinafter set out.
THEREFORE,, BE IT ORDA NED BY TIC CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CI TY OF LITTLE ROCK:
THAT Street Improvement District No. 943
of the City of Little Rock, be, and the same is hereby
created and established for the purpose of making local
improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing, gutter-
ing and paving in such manner and with such materials as
the commissioners of said district shall determine to be for
the best interests of the district the following street:
Cross Street from the south property line of test
Sixth 'Street to the north property line of West
25th Street in the City of Little. Rock, Arkansas,
in accordance with an act of the General Assembly of the State
of Arkansas entitled "An Act to regulate local improvements
in cities of the first class ", approved March 22nd, 1881, and
amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said district shall
include the following property:
All that real property lying within 150 feet east
of the east property 11ne., and all that real pro-
perty lying within 150 feet west of the west pro-
perty line respectively of Crose 'street from the
south property line of %s-t Sixth Street " o the
north property line of 77est 25th Street.

SUCTION 2: That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict heregith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage and the City Clerk is hereby ordered
within 20 days from the date of its passage to publish
the same in some newspaper publishedlin the City of Little
Rock for one insertion.
