VJHEREZS, more than ten owners of real property
within t..-at portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas
hereinafter described, have petitioned the city coancil to
take steps towards makinz local- improvements therein by
forming the territory hereinafter described into an
improvement district for tine purposes hereinafter set out:
T LEREJ ?ORE, Be It Ordained by the city council
of the City of Little Roc;,:
Section 1. That said Street Improvement
District I+o. 372 of the City of Little Rock, be, and the
same is hereby created and established for the purpose
of making local improvements �he rein Aby gradigg� *A� ing,
curbing, guttering and the paving of said streets in
such a manner and ,;rith such material as the commissioners
of said District shall deem to be for the best interests
of the district, the following streets in said city:
Thayer Street from the south line of .larkham
6treet, thence south for a distance of 860 feet;
mountain Street from the south line of Uarkham
Street, thence south for a distance of 575 feet;
Grove Circle from the east curb line of Thayer,
thence west 498.5 feet to the west curb line of
2ountain Avenue;
all in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas, in accordance with
an act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas
entitled "An Act to Regulate Local Improvements in Cities
of the First Class ", Approved larch 22,1881, and amendments
thereto; that the boundaries of the said District shall
include the follow- ing property:
The boundaries of the District shall include
all real property bounding or abutting upon the portion
of said istreets that are to be improved as aforesaid,
and running; back a distance of 150 feet therefrom, except
that no part of hots twelve (12), thirteen (13) and
fourteen (14) of Block Three (3) of Youngs Park addition
shall be included in the District.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage, and the Cits '3lerk is hereby
ordered within twenty days from the date of its passage
to publish the same in some newspaper published in the
City of Little Rock 16�grone insertion.
