ORDINANCE NO. 3339 .
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING TIE STRJ OF $8500.00
TO STREET II PROVII1.1- +INT DISTRICT NO, 360 TO PAY
THE COST OF PAVING EAST 21st STREET IN FRONT
OF TIE PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK.
WHEREAS, Street Improvement District No. 360 will,
among other streets, pave East 21st Street from Cumberland to
Barber Avenue and will include the south 150 feet of that pro-
perty owned by the City of Little Rock lying north of East 21st
Street between the center section line of Section 11 in Township
1 North, Range 12 Test, and the west property line of Barber
Avenue; and
AREAS, in making their assessment of benefits on
the property in said district the assessors in said district
have assessed against property owned by the City of Little Rock
the sure of n >8500.000 which is in keeping with the assessments
on other property in the same district; and
WHEREAS I rdinance No. 33Z has been passed
levying annual collection of six (6) per cent per annum upon the
assessment of benefits in said district, payable on or before
the 15th day of November of each year beginning November 15th,
1923 for a period of 15 years or until the whole of said assess-
ment of benefits shall have been paid; and
VIBEREAS the property of the City has been benefited
and the City should pay its just and proportionate part of the
cost of said improvement,
NOT THEREFORE IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARIKANS 9

SECTION 1: That the sum of )8500.00 be, and the
same is hereby appropriated out of the general revenue of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to be paid to Street Improvement
District No. 360 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as follows:
That, on the 15th day of November of each year,
beginning November 15th, 1923, six per cent (6o) of said sum
of 8500.00, or ";; )510.00, shall be paid by said City of Little
Rocla to the treasurer of said Street Improvement District Not
360, until the whole of said appropriation has been paid.
SECTIIIN 2: That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
