AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
PURCHASE AN AUTOMOBILE FOR THE 23LICE DEi'ARTIENT; APPROPRIATING
SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS OR AS MUCH THEREOF AS 14AY BE NECESSARY FOR
SAID PURCHASE, A a:, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE- CITY OF LITTIE ROCK:
SECTI -)N 1. That the Board of Public Affairs are hereby
authorized dnd directed to Aag* f :kama purchase at an automobile
for the - Police Department, the old Dodge roadster to be traded in,
and the sun of X700.00 or as much th er eff as may be necessary is
hereby appropriated out of any moneys in the general revenue fund
not otherwise appropriated for said purchase. The Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby directed and authorised to draw the city's warrant
for the sum of WOO.00 or as much thereof as may be necessary, made
payable to th a person or firm designated by the Board of Public a
Affairs and with such matfrity as in their discretion may be for the
best interest of the city.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and
after its passage.
