AN ORDINANCE ASS3SSING TIE VALUE; OF THE
BENEFITS TO BE R __!'IVED BY THE OVINERS OF
EACH OF TiL; SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, PARCELS,
RAILROAD RIGHT- OF -ddAYS OR OTHER SUB- DIVISIOITS
OF REAL PROPERTY WITHIN STREET I112ROV3311ENT
DISTRICT NO. 356 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARRfANSAS .
WHEREAS, a majority in value of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated within Street Improvement District No.
356 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by draining and
re- paving certain streets set out in the petitions for said
District and by grading, draining, cubing, guttering and pav-
ing certain other streets set out in the petitions for said
district, all to be done in such manner and with such materials
as the commissioners of said district shall determine to be for
the best interests of the District, have petitioned the City
Coun-Cil of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said
improvements and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon
the real property within said district according to the benefits
received; and
WHEREAS) said benefits received by each and every
lot, block, parcel, railroad right -of -way or other sub - division
of real property situated within said district equals or exceeds
local assessment thereon, and
3HEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
0104P324.55;
THERE FO RE IT IS NO.I ORDAI NuD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, A`.KAIT311S:
SECTION 1: That the said several lots, blocks,

parcels, rd lroad- right -of -ways or other sub - divisions of real
property within said Street Improvement District No. 356 be,
and they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list
for said improvement district as the same now remains in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Tittle Rock or as same
may be annually re- adjusted by the Board of Assessors and that
ten per centum (10;x) of said assess_ent of the value of the
benefits on each of said lots, blocks, parcels, railroad right -
of- i,yays or other sub - divisions of real property in said district
shall be paid annually on or before the first day of December
of each year until the whole of said assessment shall have been
paid. The first annual¢¢ A shall be made on or before the first day
of December, 1923.
S7CTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordi-
nance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage,
