AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE, VALUE OF BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY
THE O',MERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF
LAND WITHIN STREET I1,1PROVE ENT DISTRICT NO. 362 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROOK, ARKANSAS.
7HEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated
in Street Improvement District No. 362, in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of making local im-
provements therein by draining, grading, curbing, guttering
and paving Izard Street from the south property line of Four-
teenth Street to the north property line of Fifteenth Street,
and, from the south property line of Fifteenth Street to the
north property line of Twenty -third Street, and, Twenty- second
Street from the east property line of Izard Street to the west
property line of State Street, have petitioned the City Council
of the Cit :m f Little Rock for the construction of said im-
provements,,,, the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the
real property in said district according to the benefits receiv-
ed.; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received. by each and every block, 1.�t
and pardcl of real property, railroad and railroad right -of -way
situated in said district equals or exceeds the local assess-
ment thereon, and,
INHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvements is ; 54,895.06
exclusive of interest and other expenses and the assessed bene-
fits amount to 467,512.00; Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THEIE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the s_�id several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property, railroads and railroad rights -of -way in said
Street Improvement District No. 362, be, and they are hereby,
assessed. according to the assessment list as t'i'le same now re-
mains in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock
and as the same may be annually readjusted by the Board of
Assessors and that ten per centum of said assessment of the
value of benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels of
land, railroads and railroad rights -of -way shall be paid on or
before the 15th day of December in each of the years 1923 to
1932, inclusive, until the whole of said assessment shall have
been paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in f --il force and effect from and after passage.
