Section 1. That all signs hereafter erected, constructed or
hung; from any buildin7 or any other support on any of the streets
of the City of Little Rock, between Markham street and Tenth
street and between Scott street and Arch street, and on :.arkham
street between Comr:-ierce street and Victory street, shell be elec-
tric signs of 'Lill steel construction, t nd shall conform to the
requirements of that section of Ordinance i`o. •2799, reQulat ing
steel electric signs, hanging or extendin7 over any street, sidewalk
or alley. sill steel signs with glass let 4ers, as u;proved by t "e
City Engineer, will be classified as electric signs.
Section 2. That this ordinance does not prohibit the erection
or hanging of frame metal signs agaitlst any builaing, shingle or
card signs, cloth signs, drum signs or roof electric or bulletin
signs, provided, that these signs conform to the requirements of
Ordinance is o. 2799, regulating the some.
Section 3. The fees for the hanging or construction shall1be
the same as designated in Ordinance 111o. 2799.
Section 4. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate
any provision of this ordinance or .:ho shull fail to comply with
any of its requirements shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon convict ion be f ined in any sum of not less than 4 5.00
nor more than $ 25.00 for each offense and each atld every day's
continued violation of this ordinance shall be deerued as a
separate offense.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, and, all ordinances and parts of
ordinances i1j conflict herewith are 1,ereby repealed only in so
far as they conflict herewith.
