ACROSS RECTOR AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAIN 'D BY THE CITY COUITC IL OF THE CITY O'+' LITTLE ROCK:

Section 1. The Chicago, Rock Island. and 2acific Railway
Com,,)any, its successors and assigns, are hereby authorized to con-
struct, maintain arfJ operate a spur track across `lector Avenue,
in the City of Little 1,ock, said track to be an extension rf a,
track now located on Block 8, :iectortown Addition, and to cross
Rector Avenue at a point approxiiT tely one hundred (100) feet
South or the :-outh line of Third Street; and the said Railway
Company shall pay to the City of Little Rock in advance a rental
of 9`25.00 per annum.
Section 2. Said railway Company shall maintain said track
so that the top of the rails shall be on a level with the grade
of the Street as now or hereafter established, and shall be built
and maintained so as not to interfere with any water way or'. flow
Hof same, and the City shall have the right to alts6r said grade
at its pleasure without resporisibilit,- to the Railway Company.
The Railway Compan,,;, sh..11 also maintain between the rails of s €-.id
track and two feet oii each side thereof pavement of like character
and -aterial as is now, or may be hereafter, constructed at said
point.
Sect ion 3. 'he use of s,-- id track shall be so conducted
as not to interfere with the usual traffic along Rector ;venue.
Section 4. This grant shall be grid remain in force
and effect for a period of fifty years from and after the date
of the acceptance of this ordinance by The Chicago, Rock Island
,-aid 2acific Railway Company, provided that same is accepted
within ninety days after its -)asst ge.
