AND CO! +CTING THE SEWER MAIN AT THIRTIETH STREET, AND FOR
OTHE =? PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the riL-ht and privilege is hereby
granted to A.SalmonLLt, his heirs and assigns, �to construct
and maintain at This own expense, a, cert_An sewer line, as
described above, provided that the said sewer shall be according
to the plans and specifications as approved by the superintendent
of Public Works and filed tijith him.
Section 2. In consideration of said privilege
A.Salmonat will advance the funds necessary for the co:�struction
og- said sewer., and for the projper :Rxxxtk_i?x_p maintenance thereof.
The exclusive control of the line hereby authorized to be con-
structed, for and during the period provided by this ordinance,
is herby granted to A.Salmonat and he is authorized to permit
or prevent any connections therewith by any person or persons,
except upon the terms and conditions specified in this ordin'.nce.
Section 3. That the said A.Salmonat shall permit all
the property owners to connect with the�fsoxre, upon the payment

and that said A.Salmonat shall pay
to the city the sum of fifty dollars for the privilege of connecting
said serer line with the old sewer, as designated; and that the
costs of construction be filed with the City Engineer.
Section 4. Th - -.t the said sewer shall be turned over to

the passage of this ordinance
Section 5. The City Collector is hereby designated
as a collector for the parties mentioned, to whom all moneys for

connection and proportinn-! -ve shares of construction costs
shall be paid and for the benefit and use the city shall receive
three per cent of the amount for making collections of all moneys
collected, and pay the balance to A.Salmonat, his heirs or assigns,
ae their interests appear;.
Section 6. Said A. Salmonat shall file i -n. writing
•_.xd an acceptance of the terms of this ordinance thirty days
after the passage of this ordinance, sand upon failure to do so
the ordinance shall be of no effect.
Section 7. This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect from and after its passage.
