A MUNICIPAL RETAIL CURB MARKET AND ALSO A WHOLESALE C Lr.iB

BE IT ORDAI1'LD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, Ark,
SECTIOD 1. There is hereby created a market commission
to be composed of seven members to be nominated by the Idayor
and aoproved by the City Council, three of said commission
shall be members of the city council, all members to serve
without pay and for a period of two years and until their
,euccessors are appointed and qualified. '11hA Ilayor and City
Health Officer shal be ex- officio members of said commission.
SECTIO.? 2. The City idarket Commission is hereby authcrr ized
to establish a municipal retail market at Tenth and Spring
street on the west side of Spring and the north side of Tenth
street, also at a suitable location to be selected by the
commission, wholesale curb market. The cor..mission Is hereby
further authorized to make all such rules, and regulations
as may be deemed advantageous and to the benefit and success
of the market. Yay make such arrangements as found necessary
for the supervision and management thereof, provided, that
unless xxs7tmmJcX17xx=xi:ftrtx expressly xrovided the City of
Little Rock shall bear no nortion of expense of establishment
or maintanance of said market other than is necessary
sanktation and police protection.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and -,arts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereb : repealed in so far as the;,,
conflict herewith, and this ordinance shall be in full forde
and effect from and after its passage.
