Section 1. That Secti �n 31 of Ordinance no.3518 be
amended to read as follows: "
"Section 31. Safety Zones. The safety zone district
Shall include I.Tain Street from the foot of the I'dain Street
Bridge to the south property line of the intersection of Finth
Street; and west Capitol Avenue from the tivest property line
of the intersection of :,lain. Street to the alley west of brain
Street. The safety zones shall be in a portion of the street
marked by standards or martLers, one placed on the property line
of the intersecting street and the other at a distance designated
by the 2olice Committee; and a line drawn parallel with the
street car track between the two standards or markers this
indicating the boundaries of such zone. Safety zones shall only
be located at the usual stopping places of streetp cars and are
for the protection of such persons entering or leaving the cars"
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
insofar only as they conflict here,,vith are hereby repealed and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage.
