An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 3302, passed August 13,
1923.

Whereas, Ordinance No. 3302, passed August 13,
1923, levied an assessment of benefits upon all real proper-
ty in Seiner Improvement District No. 87 of the City of Little
Rock and also in error stated therein that an assessment was
levied upon all real property situated in Patrick Pourers Ad
,
dition Annex to said Sewer Improvement District No. 87, in
accordance \rith the assessment list for said district and for
said annex as filed in the office of the City Clerk; and,
ihereas, said ordinance was passed in error in so
far as an attempt was made to levy any assessment whatever
in Patrick Powers Addition Annex to Sewer Improvement Dis-
trict No. 87, for the reason that no assessment was made upo
the real property in said annex and said annex had and has
y. been abandoned for the reason that the cost of the improve-
ment therein would exceed the benefit derived therefrom;

Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the City Council.
Y Hof the City of Little Rock:
That said Ordinance No. 3302, passed August 13,
r 1923, be, and. the same is hereby, amended to read as follows!:
" 1,11hereas, a majority in value of the property own -

ers owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situate in Sewer Improvement District No. 87 of the
City of Little Rock, said district being heretofore or-
,
ganized for the purpose of constructing a system of sew-
ers, have petitioned the City Council of the City of Lit-
tle Rock for the construction of said improvement and that
the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real propert

E of said district, according to the benefits received; an q.,

111,i-ereas, said benefits received by each and overy
block, lot and parcel of real property situate in said
district and in said annex equals or exceeds the local
assessment thereon; and,
'' Whereas, the estimated cost of said improvement with
in said district is ��2800.00; Therefore,
It is now Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock:
" That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said district be assessed according to the
assessment list for said district as the same now remains
in the office of the Circuit Clerk, and that ten per cen
of the assessed benefits on each of said blocks, lots an
parcels of land shall be paid annually, on or before the
first day of September of each gear, until the yrhole of
said local assessment shall be paid. rr
