OF TF CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WI�R4!AS1' a majority in value of the owners of real
property owning real property adjoining the locality to be
affected and situated within Street Improvement District No.
388 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
purpose of making local improvements therein by grading,
draining, curbing;, guttering and paving in such manner and
with such materials as the commissioners of said district
shall determine to be for the best interests of the district
the street set out in their oatition, have petitioned the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the
construction of said i-norovements and that the cost thereof
shall be assessed upon the real property in eaid district
according to the benefits received; and
MR'AS, said benefits received by each and every
lot, block and other subdivision of real property situated
in said district equals or exceeds the local assessment
thereon; and
WH3T.; ?,AS, the estimated cost of said improvement is

NOW, THM :FOR , B IT ORDAI EM BY THI, CITY COUNCIL
OF T'rL CITY OF TITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
3'7CTION 1: That the said several lots, blocks and
other subdivisions of real property within said Street Im-
provement District No. 388 be, and they are hereby assessed
according to the assessment list for said district as the
same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of the City
of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually readjusted

by the Board of Assessors, and that nine (9%) per centum of
said assessment of the value of the benefits of each 4 said
lots, blocks or other subdivision of real property in said
district shall be paid annually on or before the 15th day of
October of each year until the whol& of said assessment shall
have been paid. The first annual payment sha11 be made on or
before the 15th day of October, 1924.
S- :CTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and said ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
