and guttering, and doing the necessary excavating; acid filling
therefor, on the streets set out in their petition, have pet-
itioned the Cite Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkans -:s,
for the construction of the improvements, and that the cost
thereof shall be assessed upon the real property within said
Dist •ict according to the benefits received; and,

lot, block, parcel -and other sub- divisions of real property
situated within said District, equ-ls or exceeds the local
assessment thereon; and,

land, shall be paid annually on or before the first da1T of

paid. The first annual payment shall be made on or before the

Srm, ToN 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and that this ordinance
shall be in full force and affect from Id after its passage.
