HomeMy WebLinkAbout3650�..,� # ?s" O_RD I N,LXCE An Ordinance Laying Off Certain Portions of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, into an Improvement District and Designating the Property EmbracedTherein; Said District to be Known as Curb & Gutter Improvement District No. 41-o c/ ',-MREAS, ten or more owners of real property within that portion of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereinafter described have petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to take steps toward the making of local improvements therein by grading, draining, curbing and :_uttering with such materials and in such manner as the commissioners may deem to be to the best interests of the district, the folio: =ring streets lying within said district: Crestrood Drive from the east side of Prospect Avenue to the eat side of Beech Street, and Jackson, V onroe , Spruce, Palm and Beech streets from the south side of Cantrell Road to the north side of Crestwood Drive, and all intersections of aforesaid streets. NO'S, TNMREI'ORE , BE IT ORDAIMD BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF LIT^iIE ROCK, ARKLIBAS : Section 1. That Curb & mutter T.mprovement District No. 404 of the city of Little Rock, .yrkansas, be and the same is hereby created and established for the pus�pose of gradinf draining, curbing, guttering with such materials and in such manner as the commissioners may deem to be to the best interests of the district, th-- following streets lying within said district: Crestwood Drive from the ea ;:t side of Prospect Avenue to the east side of Beech :street, and Jackson, Monroe, Spruce, Palm and Beech streets from the south side of Cantrell Road to the north side of Cre tw(ood Drive, and all intersections of aforesaid streets, in accordance with the act of the General assembly of the State of Arkansas, entitled `An act to Regulate the I1Ianner of l:ssessing Real Property for Local Improvements in Cities of -First and Second Class, Approved march 22nd, 1881 and Amendments Thereto." '"I -4 Section 2. That the ?District hereby created, laid off and established shall include that portion and only that portion of the city of Little Rock, er'mnsas, hereby designated as follows: Tots 1 to 114, (both inclusive) Cliffewood, an addition to Little Rock, and A tract of land beginning at the northeast corner of I ection 31, T. 2 IT., i4. 12 W., run south 739 feet along the section line to the point of beginning; thence north =8 degrees 56 minutes west 326.3 feet to the northeast corner of Cliffewood; thence south 1 degree 30 minutes west 982 feet to the southeast corner of Cliffewood; thence east 327 feet, more or less, and to the east line of said Section 31; thence north along the east line of said Section;31, 982 feet, more or less, and to the point of beginning, containing 7-4 acres, more or less. :ind all the real property so escribed shall com ose said district and shall be subject to the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication and the clerk of the city of Little Rock J s hereby ordered, within 20 days from the passage of this ordinance to publish the sage in some newspaper of general circulation published in Pulaski County for one insertion.
