ORDET.UICE NO. 3665.
An ordinance granting to John F. Boyle and
Ike Kempner, their assigns and successors the right to
excavate under the sidewalks on Sixth & Louisiana
Streets adjacent to lots 5 and 6, bloc: 74 in the City
of Little Rock, to the curb line on said streets and to cones
struet and maintain in said excavation substructures and
-basement for a hotel building to be erected on said lots.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and City Council
of the City of Little Rock:
Section 1. That John F. Boyle and Ike Kempner, being
the owners of lots 5 and 6, block 74 in the City of Little
Rock and now engaged in excavating said lots for the pur-
pose of erecting thereon a hotel building, and their assigns
and successors be and they are hereby granted permission to
excavate under the sidewalas on Sixth Street and Louisiana
Street adjacent to said lots, said excavation to extend to
the curb line of said streets; and the right to maintain therein
the substructures and basement of said ,proposed hotel building
for a reriod of _years from the date of the - passage and
approval of this ordinance.
Section 2. That the Board of Public Affairs of the
City of Little Rock is hereby authorized and instructed to
enter into an complete a ease Ifpr th use of the above
mentioned by John F. Boyle and Ike Kem-oner for
a period of -±Y--.Years at $1.00 tier year.
Section 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the sane are hereby repealed*
