An ordinance laving off a portion of the City of Little Rock into a Street Improvement District to be known as Street Improvement District No. 409 and designating the boundaries thereof. WHEhEAS, more than 10 owners of real property within that portion of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, herein- after described, have petitioned the City Council to take steps toward making of local improvements therein by forming the territory hereinafter described into an Improvement Dis- trict for the purpose hereinafter set out: THhhhFOhE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Hock: Secion 1: That said Street Improvement District No._ 02 of the City of Little hock be, and the same is her•eb,r created and established for the purpose of grading, draining, curb- ing, guttering and paving with concrete in such manner as the commissioners to be selected may deem for the best in- terests of the district, the following -named streets, to -wit: Van Buren Street from the south line of Club Road to the north line of "T" Street, and "T" Street from Van Buren Street to the east line of Country Club Heights Addition. And for the making of local improvements by grading, draining, curbing, guttering and graveling in such manner as the commissioners to be selected may deem for the best inter- ests of the District, the following -named streets, to -wit: Van Buren Street from the North line of "T" Street to a point One Hundred Fifty (150) feet north of the north line of the Forbes Place Addition. Jackson Street from 1"211 Street to the North line of New- ton's Addition. Spruce Street, Palm Street, Beech Street and As'ri Street from "1 ^" Street to the north line of Country Club Heights Addi t! .i . "U" Street from Van Buren Street to Jackson Street. I , 9 'i - 2 - in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in accordance with an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Arkansas entitled, "An Act to Regulate Local Improvements in Cities of the First Class," approved. March 22, 1881, and amendments thereto; that the boundaries of said District shall include the following property; located in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit: The :past One Hundred Seventy ( 170) Feet of the East half of the South - '?Vest Quarter (SWI) of the North -West Quarter- (NWQj of the South -East Quarter (SE4) of Section Thirty (30), except that part dedicated as Van Buren Street; the West One Hundred Seventy (170) Feet of the North half of the South - East Quarter (SE-1) of the North -:Nest Quarter ( NWI ) of the South -East Quarter (SE4) of Section Thirty (30), except that part dedicated as Van Buren Street, the East Half of the South Half of tlie South -East ( marter (SE-:4 ) of the Nort,i -West Quarter (NINQ) of the South -East Quarter (SE4) of Section Thir- ty (30), all in Township Two (2) North, hange Twelve (12) West. All of Blocks 1, 2, 14 and 13; Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, block 15; Lots 1 to 11, inclusive, Block 16; Lots 4 to 11, inclusive, Block 27; Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, and Lot 9, Block 3; Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, and 11 to 14, inclusive, Block 12; Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, and 11 to 14, inclusive, Block 17; Lots 1 to 4, inclusive and 11 to 14, inclusive, Block 26, Newton's Addition to the City of Little Rock. All of Blocks 7, 8, 9, 10 ai ±d 11; Lots 4 to 11, inclusive in Blocks 3, 4, ar)d 5; Lots 4 to 9, inclusive in Block 6, Country Club Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock. Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, Block 2, Forbes Place Addition to the City of Little Rock. The South -V est Quarte-t ( SWQ ) of the South -West Quarter (SW-1), Section Twenty -Nine (29), Township Two (2) North, Ranp,e Twelve (12) West. Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, and the City Clerk is hereby ordered within 20 days from the date of its passage to publish the same in some newspaper pub- lished in the City of Little Rock for one insertion.
