An Ordinance nssessi.n the Value of the Benefits To Be Received
By the 0;nmers of Each of the Several Blocks, Lots= and ParNq.Ls of
Land Within Street Improvement District Yo.402 of the city of
Little Rock, 1rkansas .
:,"U EAS, the majority in value of the property owners
adjoining the locality to be affected and situated v:ithin Street
Improvement District No.402 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
organized for the purpose of making local iqm rovements therein by
grading,
draining curbing,
guttering and
paving in such
manner and
with such
materials as the
commissioners
may deterirline
to be for the
best interests of the district, Alpine Pass (Street) from the north
side of Markham Street to the West side of Crystal Avenue, have
petitioned the city council of Little Rock for ti-le constriction of
said improvement and th_ t the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the
real property within said district according to the benefits received;
and
11 'RE1,S, said benefits received by each and every blocll, lot
and parcel of real property situated within said district equals or
exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
THEMPAS, the estimated cost of said iml_;roven.ent, exclusive of
interest is
TIM;FEFORE, it is now ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little -Rock, Arkamas,
SECTION 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of real
property in said Street ImY,rovement District ',,'o.402 be and they are
hereby assessed according to the assessment lilt for said Improvement
Di trict as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually re- adjusted by
the. Board of Assescoxs, and that four (4) percentum of said assessment
of the value of benefit to each of said blocks, lots and parcels of
land shall be paid on or before the first day of February, 194;5; that
nine (9) percentum of said assessment shall be paid annually on or before
the first of February of each of the year_,= 1926, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1930,

1931 and 1932; that eight (F:) percentum of said assessmelt shall
be paid annually on or before the first day of February of each of
the years 1933, 1934, 1935 and 1936, until the whole of said local
assessment shall be paid.
. SECTICN 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinaiices in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage.
