of real property owning real property- adjoining the
10CL.1ity to be affected, a.nd sit,-!ate wit'.in Street Irii-
provement District No. 408 of the City of Tittle Rock,
Arkansas, organized -for the purpose of malting local im-
provements therein by grading, draining, curbing, guttering
and graveling,in such manner and with such materials as
the commissioners of said district shall determine to be
for the best interests of the d.istrict,the streets set
out in their petition, have petitioned the City Council
of the City of :.little Rock for the construction of said
improvements and that the cost thereof shall be assessed
upon t'e real property within said aist2°ict according to
the benefits received; and,
S, said benefits received by each and
every lot, block or other su'a- division of real property
within said district equals or excecas the lccal assess-
ment thereon; and,
iv=REAS, the estimated cost of said improvements
is Thirty -fo-ar Thousand, Vine Hundred Thirty -eight and
20 %100 Dollars 034,938.20);

Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks or
other sub- divisior_s of real property within said Street Im-

provement District No. 408 be, and they are her;a j�, assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement

district as the same now remains in the office of the Cite
Clerl.- of the City of little Rock, and as V e same may be
annually readjusted by the board of assessors, and that
ten per centum (10 %) of said assessment of the value of the
benefits on each of said lots, blocks or other sub— divisions
of real property within said district smll be raid annually
on or before the fifteenth day of June of each year until the
whole of said assessment shall have been paid. The first
annual payment shall be made on or before the 15th day of
June, 1925.
Section L. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict he -c:with are '_e_ °eby repealed, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
