AN ORDINANCE TO AP -,'TEND ORDINANCE NO. 876 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK:ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A RIGHT OF 1AY OVER CER-
TAIN STREETS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,TO LITTLE
ROCK TRACTION AND ELECTRIC COP,1PANY FCR THE CONSTRUCTION., OPERA
TION AND MAINTENANCE OF A STREET RAILWAY SYSTEM."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION ONE. That Ordinance No. 876 of the City of
Little Rock entitled "An Ordinance Granting a right of way over
certain_ streets of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the
Little Rock Traction & Electric Company for the construction,
operation and maintenance of a street railway system ", be amended
as follows:
Is That the Arkansas Power & Light Company, the successor
by mesne assignments from the Little Rock Traction & Electric
Company, may build and maintain a pavement of concrete between its
rails and two feet on each outside thereof along High Street from its
intersection with vVest Ninth Street south to its intersection with
Sixteenth Street."
SECTION TWO. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage upon its acceptance by the
Arkansas Power & Light Company to be duly endorsed on the margin
of this ordinance or the record thereof by the duly authorized
officer of said Gompany, and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the sane are hereby repealed.
