AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT °::ITH JOHN T. CASTLE FOR THT COMPILATION
OF A DIGEST OF THE CITY ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PAYrENT THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Board of Public affairs is hereby
authorized to enter into a, contract with John T.Castle of Little
Rock for the compilation of a digest of the ordinances of the
city of Little Rock, at a cost not to exceed the sum of One
Thousand ($1,000) Dollars for such services and said amount of
$1,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appro-
priated from the general revenue fund of the city, and the mayor
and city clerk are hereby authorized to execute the cityts warrant
for such amounts and in the manner as may be set forth in the
contract executed by the Board of Public Affairs.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force -from and after the date of its passage.
