FIXING TIC TAX OF SUCH PRIVILEGE AT $1,000.009 AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT CRDAINED BY T-7 CITY COUNCIL 07' THE CITY OF L I'T ME ROCK:
Section 1. That the publication of the ordina .ces
or any part thereof of the City c:f Little bock wherein advertis-
ing is sold and incorporated in said publication is <<ereby de-
clared to be a privilege, and any person, firm, or corporation
engaging in such publication or the soliciting of advertising
matter therefor shall pay to the City a tax in the sm of „1,000.00
for each separate publication of such ordinances or codes of the
Ci t,r of Little Rock
Section 2. Before any such person, firm or eopora-
Lion o-r any employees thereof shall engage in the business herein -
before mentioned, they shall first secure therefor a certificate
from the City Collector of Little Rock, setting forth that the
above tax has been paid, and any person violating this ordinance
by the solicitation of advertising in the City of Little :114ock to
be incor -oo -rated in any such publication shall be deemed guilty of
a middemeanor and shall be fined in any sun not less than x;,100 nor
more than Z'; a xi each day's violation of this ordinance shall
be deemed a separate offense.
Section 3. All ordina.i ces and parts of ordinances
in conflict here`nrtth are insofar as they conflict, WC4 hereby re-
pealed, and this ordinancex ehdl be in force,,d d tak)ijeffect from
and after its passage.
