Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Little Rock:
Section 1, The Board of Public affairs of the City of Little
Rock is hereby aut orized to enter into a contract with the Bi- Lateral
ire Hose Company, of Chicago, Illinois, for the purchase of ten thous -

nd (10,000) feet of Congo Double Jacket Fire Hose at a� price of One

1payment in thirty days,
Section 2. Upon executing said contract of purchase, the
Board of Public nffairs shall require the Bi- Lateral fire TTose ComT?any
to execute an indemnity bond with any surety company to be selected
by the City of Little Rock, unconditionally guaranteeing said hose
against defects, bPeaks, and pin holes for a period of six (6) years
fror..i date of purchase, said bond shall contain furt "er provision that
the Chief of the Fire Department of Little Rock shall be the sole
judge as to when and hou hose is to be replaced by reason of any of
the above named defects, breaks, or holes.
Section 3. The suLi of Eleven Thousand One Hundred Seventy-
tvio Dollars 0119172.00) is hereby appropriated out of the Airport,
Hospital, and 'Fire Eq ui0ment Bond Fund for the payrlent of said hose,
and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to issue the City's
warrants in pa71n11ent of the above sum.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
from and after its passage.
