DISTRICT NO. 516 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
77hereas, parties claiming to be the owners of a
majority in assessed value of the property located with-
in the territory hereinafter described have filed a
petition praying that an improvement district be estab-
lished for the purpose hereafter set forth; and
rlhereas , after due notice as required by law the
City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has
heard all parties desiring to be heard and has ascer-
tained that said petition was signed by a majority or
more than sixty (60) per cent in assessed value of the
owners of real property within said territory;
NOW 1. THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. That there is hereby established
an improvement District embracing the following property,
to -wit: Lots Four (4), Five (5), Six (6), Seven (7),
Eight (8) and Nine (9) , inclusive, in Blocks 135, 1402
276 and 257, inclusive; Lots One (1), Tvo (2), Three
(3), Ten (10), Eleven (11) and Twelve (12), inclusive,
in Blocks 134, 141 and 258 inclusive, and Lots One (1),
Two (2), Three (3), four (4), five (5), Six (6), inclu-
sive, in Block 254, all in the Original City of _-.ittle
Rock, County of Pulaski and State of Arkansas, for the
purpose of building and rebuilding of curbs and gutters,
constructi4g and repairing of drainage and paving the
follo,:r.,ing streets, to wit: West Second Street from the
Vles t side of Gaines Street to the East side of Ringo
Street in such manner and with such materials as the
Cos,_issioners shall deem to be for the best interests
of the district, and that the cost of said improvement
be assessed and charged upon the real property within
said district.
Section 2. Said district shall be known as
tre t Im provement District No. 516 of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and Fred Hei' iske , Dr. ', . F.
Smith and 1. 1'. Stewart are hereby named Commis- loners
who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said
district.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in force from and after its pass e.
