AN ORDIITRTCE AUTHORIZING Try BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ACCCUIRE, BY PURCHASE
OR CONDE114ATI OTT , ALL PROPJqtTY SITUATED IN TIC PRESENT PROPOSED ADDITION TO
THE LITTIE ROCK YIDTICIPAL AIRPORT, AND PROVIDING THE DETAILS OF SUCH PURCHASE
AND CONDE MATION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSE'S.
Y&MREAS, the Little Rock Real Estate Board has officially appraised
all of the property sought to be acquired at this time by the City of Little
Rock to enlarge the present Municipal Airport:
ZTMEFORE, BE IT ORDAIIMD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized to
purchase all or any part of said property, within the area now desired to be ac-

quired'A from the owners thereof, for the best price obtainable, but in no in-
stance to exceed the appraised price as made by the said Real Estate Board upon
said property.
Section 2. That the sum of EIGHTY -SEVEN THOUSAND, THREE HUxutt0.? 2TY
DOLLARS ( 97
0�00�2- , which amount is the total appraised value of all of
the said property to be so acquired, be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the Airport Bond Fund in payment for said property as described in Sec-
tion 1 hereof, and the I+rlayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and di-
rected to issue a warrant or warrants upon the Airport Bond Fund in payment of
such purchases as the same may be made by the Board of Public Affairs, under
authority of Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized to ac-
quire for and in the name of the City of Little Rock, by condernmation proceed-
ings, all property remaining within the said proposed area which the said Board
of Public Affairs is unable to purchase as hereinabove provided.
Section 4. It being immediately necessary for the safety
of air transport tnat the present Municipal Airport be enlarged, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be
in force from and after its passage.
