AN ORDINANCE AWHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF LOWEST BID RIMEITM BY THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS U1ID'.R ORDINANOE N0. 4822 D_-TED =R H 12, 1931, FOR
RMTODMING THE TMIMNAL X D ADVaNISTRATION BUILDINGS AT THE, IM NICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OP LITTLE ROCK:
Section 1. The Board of Public 'Xfuirs having duly advertised for bids
for the remodeling of the Terminal and Administration Buildings of the Little
:ock .,unicipal irport in accordance with Ordinance No. 4822, dated L ?arch 12,
19311 and having returned these bids (abstract of same attached) after advertis-
ing, with recommendation that the lowest bid of J.77. Anderson, Little Rock, Ark.,
in the amount of w6,993.00, including electric wiring, heating and plumbing, for
remodeling Terminal and Administration_ Buildings, in accordance with plans and
specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer, be accepted. The
"ity Couhcil hereto authorizes and directs that the said lowest bid be accepted.
Section-2, The Board of Public "ffa rs is hereby authorized and directed
to proceed with the work mentioned herein under the direction of the Architects,
Thompson, Sanders & Ginocchio.
Section 3. The sum of X6,993.00 is hereby appropriated from the Airport
Bond Fund in payment for the above described construction work, and the 1'; ".ayor
and the lity Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to is: ~ue warrant or
warrants ui.)on the Airport Bond Fund in payment of this work, upon same being
duly certified to by the Architects in charge.
Section_ 4. It bei ,g immediately necessary for the safety and efficient
handling of Air Transport that this construction work be completed, an emergm cy
is hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall be in force from and after
the date of its passage.
