BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM CITY COUNCIL OF TH:� CITY OF LITTLE RCCK
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs having duly advertised
for bids for furnishing such fencing, posts and gates as may be
necessary, for the Little Rock Milunicipal ,irport, in accordance
with Ordinance No. 4842 dated March 30, 1931, and having returned
these bids (abstract of same attached) after advertising, with
recommendation that the lowest bid of the Anchor Post Fence Co.
Little Rock, Arkansas, in the amount of X3,852.68, of the following:
6000ft. Wire Q 55¢3, 5 dbl. gates uN37.83; 1 old. ,;ate including
post " 211.60; 7 car. posts 08.49; and 10 gate posts Q:'9.25; in
accordance with specifications on file in the office of the City
Engineer, be accepted. The City Council hereby authorizes and
directs that the said lowest bid be accepted.
Section 2. The sum of X3,852.68 is hereby appropriated from
the Airport Bond Fund in payment for the above described funding,
posts and gates and the .Iayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to issue warrant or warrants upon the airport Bond Fund
in payment thereof.
Section 3. It being immediately necessary for the safety and
efficient handling of Air Transport that this Fencing, Posts and
Gates be completed, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be in force from and after the date of its passage.
